My name is Trish Crawley. I am originally from southern Virginia, went to school at Wake Forest University, and recently moved to San Francisco. I studied Latin and Greek as an undergraduate, and then spent a year in Trier, Germany as a Fulbright scholar studying Classical Archaeology. I am currently a Rotary Cultural Ambassadorial Scholar living in Florence, Italy for six months, where I am enrolled in a language school. I spend most of my time learning Italian, exploring the treasures of the Uffizi, and eating gelato. What a tough life!

Mom sent me your blog. This is great! I am so excited for you and can’t believe you’re on your way already. It’s great that you’ll see Andrew in NYC before taking off for Italy.
I put Drew on the airplane for Wake this morning, and your dad is picking him up from the airport and taking him to Martinsville. Then Granddaddy is taking him back to Wake Forest tomorrow afternoon. Drew is really excited about meeting with the Debate team. He’s staying with the kid who won the NDT (National Debate Tournament) last year and is arguably the best college debater in the nation. Drew is more than thrilled about that!
